The LEM (Lunar Excursion Module) has a 10,000 lb descent motor on the bottom of it, it is throttleable between roughly 1000 lbs and 6000 lbs of thrust.  So, if you were descending in the LEM and needed to slow down just before slamming into the moon's surface you would need to apply a short burst of thrust (at least 1000 lbs of thrust).  Doesn't it stand to reason that such a blast of thrust would cause a small crater just below the LEM?  And at the very least wouldn't it kick up massive amounts of lunar dust making the LEM a big dirty mess?

Here is a closeup of one of the LEM's "feet", shouldn't this foot be completely covered with dirt and dust kicked up by the landing rocket?  At the very least it should not be PERFECTLY CLEAN!!!!

Here we see an astronaut getting off the LEM and he is fully in the shadow of the LEM.  Where is the light coming from that illuminates him and the LEM so well?  There is no record of additional light sources brought up to the moon, the sun was the only light source available on the moon durring these missions.  I am thinking that the grey surface of the moon might reflect some light in random directions, but this chap is pretty well lit for being in the shadow of the LEM.

Here is another example of an astronaut that has his back to the sun, it would seem that the front of his body would appear as a pure black silhouette to us (as well as the lunar rover in the background).  Where is the light coming from that illuminates the front of his body?

P.S. When is someone...anyone, going to point a telescope at the moon and show the world a picture of at least one piece of trash (LEM Bases, Moon buggies, experiments, etc) that we have left up there ... is all that stuff invisible?
